The new building is now available for occupancy, all of the equipment is now in place, and materials are beginning to accumulate. Both locations are now functioning as partners, with information, materials, employees and all shuttling between the two facilities. | ||||||||

Several of the
new machines are now in place, and are going through testing and
calibration; the Mazak laser cutting center, two Accurpress press
brakes, and the Accurshear.
A vertical band saw is scheduled to arrive 10-20-00, followed by a 1/2" plate roller to arrive late November. |

Construction continues rather sporadically at the new location, the spring-like showers and heavy downpours have delayed the ground preparation and foundation work, but the work now seems to be back on track as long as the weather cooperates. | ||||||||

continues at the new location. Meanwhile we are busy
evaluating new software, looking at new hardware, and
meeting with new customers. Our custom and component parts business has kept the new plasma table very busy - a lot of component parts are going to Nascar™ teams. |

Mother
nature of course, was not kind the past two weeks.
Several inches of snow, compounded by frozen rain and
lower-than-normal temperatures, has slowed progress on
the new construction site. Better weather is sure to come,
and we won't be daunted. Hired a new Sales and Marketing Manager. |

Placed
purchase orders for more new equipment; a 50 ton press
brake capable of bending 1/2 inch material, and a smaller
brake, also a fully automated CNC Laser cutting center
from MAZAK. Broke ground on the new site! Plans for the new 60,000 sq ft facility are moving along as scheduled. |
